my birthday.
hi hi, i'm blogging this from my office, hahaha, i know i know, its saturday, but i love my new team, new tasks, new client.
alright, a few days ago was my birthday, yep, it was public holiday, but i was in office as well. i went home tired, exhausted and extremely not in the mood to go out. I silenced my phone and went to bed straight. The next day, woke up to heaps of missed calls and SMSes, sorry guys, it wasn't intentional, but friday i was overwhelmed with three interviews for another client, as you can see in the picture above, i was holding briefing notes for them while blowing the candles... oh, that is my boss, we share the same month, so happy birthday boss!
will make it up to you all kay (wat about next year, kekeke)...
thanks for the nice birthday card from down under. they arrived on friday just in time to cheer me up.
ooh the phone calls and SMSes made me felt better working on public holiday. oh, teh jenni your blog entry is so heart warming, thanks! hahaha, even though i'm getting less attention from u now, i still 'merestui' u dengan sepenuh hati. be happy always.
i think i will get the picture of the event just now on monday. so, come back again on monday!! i managed to 'pujuk' a very nice photographer to take a picture of our team with his fish eye lens, hehe, excited!
ta-da!!

love
love is so vain, most don't realised they can live without.
Plucked this somewhere, not bad

its a sign
next thursday is the birthday of prophet muhammad.
and friday is good friday, which mean sunday is easter.
this is a freaking sign weii~
the destined one is almost always the most under-rated one.
hahahaha~
*****
this week had been quite tough for me. stuck in explaining common sense to people, being accounted for some thing that isn't my responsibility...
i also tried out three different route to go back to klang from mid valley.
route a : mid valley - Federal high way - klang
route b : mid valley - NPE - Subang - Federal high way - klang
route c : mid valley - Bangsar - Damansara - NKVE - klang
not bad huh.. route A is most dreadful, route B most expensive and route C furthest.
i think i am near desperation.

bar lee day three
aha! on day three, we went white water rafting with facilitators DerShen and Linda. Sashi and Nahri supposed to join us, but they were too tired from last night drinking, especially nahri.. he was basically KO.
I'm very impressed by the rafting experience. after we got our life jackets and peddles, we need to march down to the river from hilltop, and the view was excellent. ha, too bad my camera was already nicely tucked into the water-proof sack.
they even stationed someone to take picture of us rafting.
we got back to the hotel, meet up with sashi and nahri and decided to go jalan jalan at Sukawati. yahoo, my film get to action!
On our way back we also stopped by a public park. an awesome public park.
At night after dinner, we went for foot massage! After massage, more beer and pool!

bar lee day two
Actually this was the FH SEA Retreat. So, i get to meet colleagues from FH Singapore and FH Manila (Phillipines)for the first time!
Day two is basically about team building... hmm i think the pictures are in my companies server. so i skipped it first la.
At night, we went to Hard Rock to have dinner. Ha ha ha, it was really cool, because i realised not only me, but eveyone else love to cam-whor*ehem*take pictures too.
We walked back to the hotel from Hard Rock because it's not far (about 20 minutes walk). We wanted to check out the Musro Music Room, nope, not for the caberet show, but for the music, MUSIC people (serious), but didn't make it. So in the end, some end up in a "Drinking Room". While a few of us went to the beach.
Show you abit of how the beach looks like at day.
Oh ya, you need to walk through this to go to the beach from Kuta Paradiso.
Aha, Jon played guitar, and we sang (more like ngee ngee goh ngoh to it). But the waves and winds were so comfy i got jiwang a bit bit. Yes, it was at this point i thought that wouldn't it be great if everyone i cherish are here with me now?
So, i ran in circles and yelled "Where is my girl friend?"

bar lee day one
What do people normally do when they strolled along the Kuta Beach in Bali at night?
I know what I did. I ran in circle and yelled nonsense.
Last Thursday, after a horrifying client event (horrifying because it’s the election time and we are supposed to get media to attend…) at KL Convention Centre, my boss was merciful enough not to skin me alive, instead flew everyone in the office to the magnificent Bali island.
And we flew MAS. Not bad huh.
Okay, let’s cut the crap and show you some pictures. First day when we arrived, we were served with some sort of welcome drinks at Kuta Paradiso, one of the few good things in this five stars hotel. Oh ya, everyone got a room for themselves! Hahahahahaha.
After my bubble bath (i do this every morning, noon and night in Bali), we went to have boss-bayar-punya-dinner at a really cool restaurant called “Gabah” opposite the street. After which some of us went for a nice “pretty long” (about one and a half hour) walk around Kuta Village.
Okay (serious tone), along Kuta village, I saw ponies on the road, strapped to pull tourist carts alongside the cars and motorcycles. Novelty? No way!! For me, it was really a sorry sight. Horses, or in this case ponies, are not meant to be there. Wouldn't the fumes choke them and honks scare them? So, whenever I looked at them, I saw misery and despair.
I admit. I felt eerie when they got near me. And yes, at a point I jumped away from a pony that got too close to me at a dark alley.
No pictures taken because I don’t want the Balinese to think that I adore it.
After the animal rights thought provoking journey, we went back to meet up with boss and played pool. Jeng Jeng Jeng...
Just feel the "Qi", how to win against them la? Plus, after the pool, a few of us continued with rummy in boss room. Basically, I got robbed in the room. Ha ha ha
