up up at level 33

last night i went to sky bar sky bar. lalala.

haiyoyo, en route, juz because i miss one turning, i gotta make a big round to get back to trader's.. uniboy even called me twice. kakaka.

vyon became very lady like, gotta have something to do with her mr. 27th december; uniboy as adorable as ever; and claudia wore black and grey stripes, which kinda fit with our unplanned theme- black. Good, its nice to see that years of being apart have not weaken our bond.

hmm, claudia did mention a few thought provoking stuff, such as online id theft, ways to prevent it, and even more ways to overcome those preventions (!). you know, people who copy your image and use it as their own, particularly in social network sites, the posers.. well, i don't have this kind of problem, but what about my other friends in the picture? am i not exposing them to the risk by posting pictures that we took together? and will it be necessary in the future to ask for permission to post photos with other people in it online? digital photography had made it so easily accesible to many.. hmm...

when in comm class, we took a module of photography and ethics. personally, i think that photos are taken, because they are to be shown. however, taking a photo and displaying it (esp to mass audience) is different thing altogether, first of all, do we have the consent of our subject? a photo gallery normally will prohibits people to photograph inside, as a precaution. what about online gallery? blog? our FB and friendster? what is stopping them from stealing?

i believe most decent comm students will have second thought from stealing other's work, and we are too proud to become a poser. but what about the others?

hmm...

too often we question the producers' ethics. what about the audience? esp in malaysia where handphones still ring in cinema, and worse, theatre......

Haha, and another issue is me being single for one year is TOO long?? is it??

anyway, happy new year to everyone, its the last day of 2007.

God loves law abiding people!

During the weekend i went back to office to do media rsvp for the coming monday event... it was a mistake.

You see, its as if every malaysian decided to do shopping at mid valley on this day, plus being the 2nd last weekend before xmas sort of pushes everyone to the brink of sanity...

And there i was, making rounds and rounds, and rounds searching for car park... i went up and down.. H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6.. then drove over to G zone, came back to H zone again, H6, H5, H4, H3... then, i saw an illegal parking spot! its a little spot right next to emergency exit, and a big sign that says NO PARKING.

It was really tempting... i won't take long anyway, about an hour or so and i will be back... i don't think they will clamp my car... cause everyone else does the same (the logic is that they will not have enough clamps, lol)... so, why not?

Why not?

I tell you why, because i believe in karma, what goes around comes around. And with some faith in me, i drove away from that spot. Angel 1 - Devil 0

I moved down to H2, and saw a couple walking out from the mall entrance, i slowed down, hoping that their car is anywhere near, and they sat right into a car which was parked right next to the entrance!! Oh my god!! Can you believe this? This is a MIRACLE!

With a huge grin on my face, i gracefully parked into that spot, proud of myself to be a law-abiding (and handsomely rewarded) malaysian :)

The result? Angel 2 - Devil 0

Merry Xmas everyone!

exam... HPY!!

today i finished my first cim exam *clap clap clap*

5 months in stamford college,
3 days in kasturi college,
4 days in wendy's house (not including the shutter night),
and finally 4 days in university malaya...

well, for every paper, i only managed to finish just on time, not a single second extra to double check or make correction, i hope there aren't too much mistakes...

results will only be out next year, sometime around CNY i guess...

********

actually, i juz finished msn with 6 of my buddies, all at once!

the whole experience felt like a mamak stall gathering, it was very noisy, confusing, interjected with lame jokes and msn nudges that can make your pc hang! We even got ourselves a group name, HPY, it stands for happy and hao peng you (best buddies).

well... it was emotional for all, especially when everyone typed down their addresses of different countries and copied down the rest... *sob sob* too bad swei only joined in after noel left. but no worries! we are set to meet up every friday!!

ha ha, technology really does connect people.

be strong?

3 days had passed..and yet, i have not seen you shed one tears.

Sometimes I'm really worried, because you might be hiding your fear and sadness. Just as you always does in front of us.

We are buddy. We should be equal. Yet, i can't help but to think that you are always protecting us, even from yourself.

I hope for once i can be the shoulder for you to lean on.
